Now serving patients at Advanced Spine and Pain, Dr. Nyström brings decades of specialized expertise in complex reconstructions, minimally invasive techniques, and cutting-edge treatments that enhance mobility and improve quality of life.
Originally from Sweden, Dr. Nyström earned his medical degree and Ph.D. in Venous Anatomy from the University of Umeå School of Medicine. He completed a prestigious fellowship in hand surgery at the University of Louisville in Kentucky. Throughout his career, he has held academic appointments at renowned institutions including the University of Nebraska Medical Center, the University of Umeå, and the University of Pittsburgh, where he specialized in hand and plastic surgery.
