Dr. Drew Richetto is a highly accomplished Doctor of Chiropractic and Physiotherapist, dedicated to enhancing athletic performance and overall health through scientifically based training and innovative treatment approaches. He earned his Doctor of Chiropractic/Physiotherapist degree, along with a PMMTP certification, from the Southern California University of Health Sciences. Dr. Richetto also holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Alabama and completed his first year at the Manderson Graduate School of Business, where he pursued an MBA.
In addition to his extensive formal education, Dr. Richetto is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS®) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA). He is also a KDT Certified Practitioner with Kennedy Decompression, a Certified Percutaneous Practitioner with Evidence In Motion, and a Certified Graston® Practitioner using the Graston Technique®. As a CSCS®, Dr. Richetto applies scientific principles to optimize athletic performance through sport-specific testing, the design and implementation of safe and effective strength training and conditioning programs, and guidance in nutrition and injury prevention. He has successfully assisted numerous University and Professional level athletes in achieving improved performance and overall health.
Dr. Richetto’s career also includes significant entrepreneurial achievements. He co-founded Surgenex and served as its Chief Operating Officer, where he played a pivotal role in manufacturing and distributing amniotic tissues—both live stem cells and lyophilized tissue—for use in pain management and wound care. His leadership extended to funding research programs, managing business-to-business relationships, and delivering educational lectures to allopathic physicians across the country.
A native of Tuscaloosa, Alabama—the home of the Crimson Tide—Dr. Richetto has been actively involved in sports from an early age, participating in soccer, baseball, karate, and high school football. While at the University of Alabama, he was a scholarship athlete on the varsity cheerleading squad, competing nationally against other Division I universities. Following his undergraduate studies and a year at the Manderson School of Business, he served a church mission in Southern California, where he discovered his passion for chiropractic care. This newfound interest led him to enroll at Southern California University of Health Sciences.
After graduation, Dr. Richetto relocated to Phoenix, Arizona, where he established his practice and raised his family, consisting of two daughters and two sons. In his leisure time, he enjoys sketching, downhill mountain biking, camping, exercising, and playing the acoustic guitar. Dr. Richetto looks forward to meeting and treating patients at ASAP Deer Valley, where his comprehensive expertise and commitment to patient care continue to make a positive impact.
