David Morales, MD, is an ACGME board-certified interventional spine and pain management specialist focusing on the most advanced techniques of interventional spine treatments and has been extensively trained in injection therapies, medications, and spinal cord stimulation for the long-term relief of chronic pain. In addition to his interventional spine and pain management certification, Dr. Morales is board-certified in neurology and psychiatry.

Dr. Morales completed his undergraduate degree in psychology at the University of Arizona in Tucson. He continued doing research and received funding to continue his work through the university’s medical student summer research program.

Dr. Morales later earned his medical degree from the University of Arizona and finished his training in internal medicine. He went on to complete additional training through the university’s Department of Neurology. Dr. Morales continued to pursue his medical training and completed a fellowship in pain management at the University of Florida in Tampa that focused on interventional pain treatments and injection therapies.

With his commitment to helping people find relief from chronic pain, Dr. Morales enjoys building a foundation with everyone he treats. His primary goal is to provide the most accurate diagnosis to better understand the root cause of pain. Dr. Morales customizes treatments, including epidurals, kyphoplasty, sympathetic blocks, radiofrequency ablations, peripheral nerve stimulation, and spinal cord stimulation, and focuses on the highest standard of care for the long-term relief of pain. In addition to seeing patients in clinic and performing procedures, he is currently in his fifth year of advanced spinal pain research. Dr. Morales is fluent in both English and Spanish.
