Marybeth Barcome, FNP-BC
Marybeth Barcome has worked as a nurse for over 30 years in ICU and Cardiac Rehab in Chicago, Portland, and Central Oregon before becoming a Family Nurse Practitioner in 2017. Upon completion of her NP program, she moved to Phoenix and immediately found a home in Pain Management, which was a natural transition as her primary focus throughout her career has been keeping patients as comfortable as possible.
As Marybeth has aged, she has learned firsthand how important lifestyle plays a role in pain management. Dealing with her own issues of arthritis and IBS, she sees how much inflammation adds to people’s pain. Marybeth has been focused on exercise and nutrition since her first graduate program. She has run six marathons and continues to run every occasion she can. An avid rock and mountain climber while living in Oregon, Marybeth still enjoys hiking with her husband in Arizona. She has a passion for gardening with a focus on attracting hummingbirds.
Marybeth is the mother of two; her oldest son is in the Air National Guard finishing his degree at Oregon State and her daughter has found home in Rochester, NY after finishing her degree at RIT. Her husband has four grown children from a previous relationship and, through them, Marybeth has six grandchildren.
