Dr. Vikram Mayuran is a board-certified, fellowship-trained orthopedic spine surgeon specializing in minimally invasive and complex spinal procedures, with extensive experience in both operative and nonoperative care.

Vikram Mayuran, MD is a fellowship-trained and board-certified orthopedic spine surgeon with extensive expertise in both operative and nonoperative management of spinal conditions. His clinical focus includes minimally invasive spine surgery (MIS) such as microdiscectomy and lumbar decompression utilizing advanced tube systems, as well as trauma cases.
He brings a strong background from his recent role at The CORE Institute in Phoenix, AZ, and prior experience with Spine Team Texas in Fort Worth, TX. Dr. Mayuran also served as a Spine Surgery Fellow and Clinical Instructor at Oregon Health and Science University, a Level 1 trauma center, where he gained extensive experience in spinal trauma, spinal cord injuries, and complex deformity correction surgery.
Dr. Mayuran earned his Doctor of Medicine and Orthopedic Surgery Residency training at the Medical College of Georgia, followed by a Spine Surgery Fellowship at Oregon Health and Science University. He also holds a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering from Georgia Tech, magna cum laude.
