Dr. Mark Eckhauser is a highly experienced vascular surgeon with a distinguished career in academic surgery, vascular program development, and patient care, now serving patients at Advanced Spine and Pain.

Dr. Eckhauser earned his medical degree from the State University of New York Downstate Medical Center. He completed his internship and residency at University Hospitals, Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. Following his residency, he remained on the full-time surgical faculty, achieving the rank of Associate Professor of Surgery, where he taught both vascular and general surgery for 11 years.
Dr. Eckhauser later moved to Southern Ohio, where he practiced vascular surgery and served as Chief of Surgery at a local hospital. During his tenure, he developed an endovascular surgery program serving Northwest Ohio and established the Northwest Ohio Vascular Institute.
In 2002, he relocated to Phoenix, Arizona, where he has been practicing ever since. Dr. Eckhauser will be seeing patients at our vascular clinic and performing procedures to treat vascular disease.
