Dr. Tim Luke is a highly skilled and experienced orthopedic and spine surgeon with over 7,000 performed spine procedures. Throughout his career, Dr. Luke has treated patients with a central goal in mind: helping them avoid unnecessary open spine fusions by utilizing less invasive, evidence-based alternatives whenever appropriate.
In addition to his extensive spine surgery experience, Dr. Luke also provides comprehensive orthopedic care in personal injury cases. This includes fracture care in the ambulatory surgery center setting, sports medicine, and treatment of upper extremity injuries. His broad orthopedic expertise allows for coordinated, efficient care for patients recovering from traumatic injuries.
Dr. Luke is a graduate of Colorado State University, where he was a member of the football team and an accomplished student-athlete, earning Academic All-Conference honors for three consecutive years.
He earned his medical degree from the University of Colorado School of Medicine, where he received the Merck Award for Scholastic Achievement.
Dr. Luke completed his internship, residency, and two fellowships at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York, training in Orthopedic and General Surgery, as well as Orthopedic Sports Medicine and Research. He later served as an Attending Surgeon in the Department of Orthopedic Surgery, further refining his surgical expertise and clinical leadership.
