Concierge = ASAP

Advanced Spine and Pain (ASAP) is quickly redefining pain management in the state of Arizona. In a word, we are becoming the concierge pain management group in the Southwest.

What does this mean? In some of the nicer hotels around the world, a concierge will assist the guest in setting up restaurant reservations, recommending shows, helping to find tours and day trips. Many times, these recommendations were not even on your radar and were things you did not even know you wanted until after you experienced them.

In much the same way, we are now making recommendations, and assisting patients in areas that they did not even realize they needed or wanted assistance. They are now, however, acknowledging that these things are making their lives better as a result.

Case in point, we recently made you aware of our new concierge pharmacy benefits. Many of our patients are now taking advantage of these services and having their medications sent directly to their homes, simplifying the medication filling process.

Another service now offered at ASAP is PGX testing. This is a simple mouth swab and saliva test. Sometimes this does not change what we do for the patient. On other occasions, we get the results back and let the patient know that based on their specific metabolism they may do better on a medication that they are not currently taking. We will then make this change and frequently patients find they are doing much better with their pain control on the different medication based on these results.

When it comes to providing concierge benefits, we may not be able to assist you in getting the hottest ticket on Broadway, but at Advanced Spine and Pain it is our goal through our concierge services to make your life a little bit Less Misérable.
