Dr. Ashlee Pruett is an ABMS double board-certified physician in Anesthesiology and Pediatric Anesthesiology, dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based care and optimizing outcomes for every patient.
Dr. Pruett was born and raised in Grand Junction, Colorado. A lifelong high achiever, she graduated from high school as valedictorian, and in 2005, she graduated summa cum laude from Colorado Mesa University with a bachelor’s of science degree in Nursing. She went on to pursue her medical education at Rocky Vista University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Parker, Colorado, where she earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree and graduated at the top of her class.
Dr. Pruett completed her residency training in Anesthesiology at Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center in Hershey, Pennsylvania, followed by fellowship training in Pediatric Anesthesiology. She is board certified in both Anesthesiology and Pediatric Anesthesiology.
Throughout her career, Dr. Pruett has remained committed to lifelong learning and staying current with advances in anesthesiology and perioperative medicine. She takes a comprehensive approach to patient care, emphasizing clear communication, careful evaluation, individualized treatment planning, and the optimization of each patient’s health and safety throughout the perioperative experience.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Pruett enjoys playing basketball and soccer, watching football, as well as hiking, hot yoga, and working out. Most importantly, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, including her husband, Jarrett, an interventional pain management physician, and their four children.
