No Pain, No Gain.
At ASAP, when a statement is made by a patient that there is no pain, it is not followed by “well, no gain,” but instead is followed by a happy dance, significant merriment, and unbridled revelry. Our goal at ASAP is always to minimize pain and maximize gains. We celebrate with you your wins, but also feel your losses.
What we do not want to occur is for patients to let fear prevent them from trying any type of treatment because of potential or perceived pain they may experience during or after the treatment. If we allowed the complete avoidance of pain to guide our decisions, we would never learn to ride a bike, never drive a car, never go hiking in the forest, or even have close relationships with anyone. By attempting to avoid all pain completely, we could deprive ourselves of some of the most wonderful experiences available to us.
Advanced Spine and Pain offers a host of treatment options all designed to diminish pain. We can limit the potential or perceived pain from these procedures with information, medication, sedation, and others. And what is the alternative? What could happen if the procedure is performed and is successful? Well, we might just be joining you while you do a happy dance at your next visit.
