Alicia Hollister was born in Las Vegas, Nevada, and grew up in Phoenix, Arizona. She graduated from the University of Phoenix with a Master of Science in Nursing in 2010. She holds a national board certification with the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) as a Certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She has a special interest in pain management, addiction medicine, and alternative medicine.

Chronic pain has been an interest of Alicia’s for many years since her son was diagnosed with a painful cancer at a young age. She became an advocate for her child to ensure that he received the best treatment plan possible, which included treating his acute and eventually chronic pain. Having the personal experience of dealing with pain in a family has made her a very understanding and empathetic provider.

In her spare time, Alicia enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She enjoys good food, traveling, and DIY projects. She has also been involved with multiple charities that support childhood cancer.
