I just experienced an EMG this morning performed by Dr Jensen at Advanced Spine and Pain (ASAP). Out with the Stone Age and in with the Space Age! I had been told ALL the horror stories about needles inserted into various parts of your body followed by electric shocks. NOT with Advanced Spine and Pain and Dr. Nielson. The procedure was connection tabs placed on your body to read the electrical impulses and a non-invasive probe to administer the electrical pulses. I did need needles for approx 8 points, but rather than the large needles described by friends and family... Dr. Nielson used acupuncture-type needles that DID NOT HURT! Thank You ASAP and Dr. Nielson
