Here are a few delicious recipes that are both good for the body and helpful in reducing inflammation. Enjoy!
Awesome Green Smoothie
1 small to medium cucumber, peeled if not organic
2 cups spinach, washed
1 medium to large avocado peeled with seed removed
Juice from one lime or lemon
Stevia to sweeten (opt.)
Add water, as needed
Cut the cucumber into chunks, put in blender, and process until smooth. Add spinach and blend until smooth. Cut the avocado into chunks, add to blender along with coconut oil, and the remaining ingredients. Blend until smooth. Add water, as needed. Pour into bowls. Makes two servings. Or, you can store the second serving in a jar for use later in the day.
Carrot, Ginger, Lime Raw Soup
1 cup fresh carrot juice Juice of
1 lime
1-inch chunk ginger root, juiced
1/2 large avocado
1/2 ear of fresh organic, non-GMO raw corn
Pour the carrot, lime, ginger juice in a blender, and add the avocado. Blend until smooth. Pour in a bowl and top the soup with fresh raw corn, shaved off the cob.
